Identity

The logo is the word Lokola with a map pin planted through its first o. The ring of the o is a plate seen from above; the pin marks the place. Together they say what Lokola does: it puts a restaurant's menu on the map, one post at a time. The pin alone is the mark and doubles as a map marker.

The lettering is drawn as outlines and is not a typeface. Interface and marketing text use the system sans-serif of the device, in regular weight, with generous line spacing.

Use

Do

  • Use the primary logo on paper or light backgrounds and the white logo on green, dark or busy backgrounds.
  • Keep clear space around the logo at least the height of the o ring on every side.
  • Keep the wordmark at least 100 px wide on screen or 25 mm in print; the mark at least 16 px or 5 mm.
  • Write the name as Lokola in text; the company is LOKOLA s.r.o.
  • Use the SVG files wherever the medium allows; use PNG only where vectors are not accepted.

Do not

  • Recolour the logo, change the pin colour or set it on a colour other than paper, green or a neutral photo.
  • Rotate, stretch, outline, shadow or crop it, or put it in a box.
  • Separate the pin from the o, replace it with another pin, or move it to another letter.
  • Add a tagline, a country line or a tagline-like second line under the wordmark.
  • Use the earlier blue or orange-ring Lokola logos; they are retired.

Clear space: the height of the o ring, on every side

Boilerplate

Lokola helps restaurants and cafés turn their daily menu into social media posts. A photo of the menu becomes ready-to-publish posts for Instagram and Facebook, and the business can follow public posts from places around it to plan its own.
